I’m Saurabh Sen (also written Sourav Sen), the founder of AlignAura, a Vastu and Vedic astrology practice in Bengaluru. I’m an IIM Ahmedabad alumnus and spent 15+ years at IBM, Philips and Mercedes-Benz R&D before Vastu and Jyotish became my full-time work. I still work the way I did there: check the facts first, then advise.

For 15+ years I worked at IBM, Philips and Mercedes-Benz R&D, on data analytics, engineering and technology projects. All that time I was also reading and practising Vastu and Jyotish. Eventually I stopped treating it as a hobby.

Since starting AlignAura I have worked with 300+ clients in India and abroad: homeowners, families, business owners and startups. I combine classical Vastu Shastra and Jyotish with software that maps the floor plan and the chart, and I review every result myself.

Three rules. I read your plan and your chart before I suggest anything. I use software to speed up the mapping, never to replace judgement. And I start with changes you can make without breaking a wall.

From corporate work to Vastu and astrology
I spent 15+ years building a corporate career. By the end I was good at the job and restless with it. Vastu and Jyotish were what I read at night and practised for friends and family.
Over time I studied both seriously and began consulting for others. I brought the same habits from my corporate years: read the source texts, test what I am told, and write down what actually happens.
IIM Ahmedabad taught me to look for patterns. I read classical texts like the Manasara and Mayamata as a researcher would, and in my first year of practice I documented 50 client case studies, noting which remedies made a real difference and which did not.
I kept seeing the same gap. Most advice was generic, based on fixed rules, and rarely matched to the person’s birth chart or to what could actually be changed in the home. That is why I started AlignAura, combining classical Vastu and Jyotish with modern analysis and written reports.
Today AlignAura has served 300+ clients across India and abroad.
What clients can expect from me
I listen before I assess. I explain the reason behind every recommendation, not just the instruction. And I put everything in writing: every client gets a report with remedies ranked by priority.
