Saturn in Aries: debilitated, not powerless
Aries is ruled by Mars, and Saturn is debilitated there. Put simply, a slow, patient planet sits in a sign that wants speed. That friction tends to show as delays, impatience with slow systems, and tasks that have to be redone properly. A debilitated planet can still give good results when neecha bhanga, its classical cancellation, applies in your own chart. From Aries, Saturn aspects Gemini, Libra and Capricorn.
Saturn belongs to the west in Vastu, so its friction in a fire sign can show at home as well as at work. A west side that is crowded, damp or always locked is worth noticing while Saturn sits in Aries.

Aries (Mesh)
Saturn crosses your Moon sign itself, the peak of sade sati. Responsibility tends to land on you, and results come slower than effort. Debilitated Saturn on the Moon asks for patience with yourself as much as with others. Work built carefully in these years usually lasts.
Taurus (Vrishabh)
Saturn in your 12th starts the first phase of sade sati. Spending, travel, foreign links and rest come into focus. It suits saving, planning and quiet groundwork. For a Taurus Lagna Saturn is a yogakaraka, so the picture can be milder than the label suggests.
Gemini (Mithun)
Saturn in the 11th is one of its better places by tradition. Gains through steady effort, older contacts and professional networks are supported. Saturn also aspects your Moon sign, so expect some seriousness alongside the progress.
Cancer (Kark)
Saturn in the 10th from your Moon puts work under the spotlight: more responsibility, closer scrutiny from seniors, and a need to deliver slowly and well. With Ketu on your Moon sign from 5 December 2026, it helps to be clear about what you really want from your career.
Leo (Simha)
Your dhaiya ends on 3 June 2027, returns while Saturn is back in Pisces from 20 October 2027, and ends again on 23 February 2028. Saturn in the 9th then tests and matures beliefs, higher study and ties with father and teachers. Jupiter in your sign from 31 October 2026 is a support.
Virgo (Kanya)
Saturn in the 8th from your Moon begins dhaiya, also called ashtama shani. Shared money, in-laws, insurance and things kept hidden tend to surface. Go slowly with risky decisions, and keep your paperwork clean.
Libra (Tula)
Saturn in the 7th also aspects your Moon sign. Marriage, business partners and contracts are where its lessons fall, and commitments made now tend to be serious ones. For a Libra Lagna Saturn is a yogakaraka, which often helps.
Scorpio (Vrishchik)
Saturn in the 6th is traditionally strong for overcoming competition, debts and disputes through persistence. A good stretch to fix routines, clear loans and finish work that others have left half done.
Sagittarius (Dhanu)
Your dhaiya ends on 3 June 2027, with a brief return from 20 October 2027 to 23 February 2028. Saturn in the 5th then asks for discipline in studies, children’s matters, creative work and investments. Avoid speculation.
Capricorn (Makar)

On 3 June 2027. It stays there until 20 October 2027, when it moves back into Pisces, and enters Aries again on 23 February 2028 for the long stretch. Any reading of the 2027 transit needs both dates in view.
Is Saturn in Aries bad for everyone?
No. Debilitation describes how comfortable Saturn is in the sign, not a verdict on every chart. Gemini, Scorpio and Aquarius Moon get Saturn in houses tradition counts as helpful, and a neecha bhanga in your own chart can change the picture further.
Which signs get dhaiya from June 2027?
Virgo Moon, where Saturn is 8th, and Capricorn Moon, where it is 4th. For Leo and Sagittarius Moon, the dhaiya that ran while Saturn was in Pisces ends then, though it returns for about four months from October 2027.
Should I read this by Moon sign or Lagna?
Both are valid. Indian tradition reads transits mainly from the Moon sign, which is why sade sati and dhaiya are counted from it. Reading from the Lagna adds house-level detail. When the two agree, I give that theme more weight.
Should I postpone a wedding or a property purchase because of this transit?
Not because of the transit alone. Your dasha and a well-chosen muhurat matter more than the sign Saturn is in. I check both before suggesting a date, and I rarely advise putting life on hold for a transit.
