In short: Indrani has worked as an interior designer for more than 24 years, and she came to me because she felt stuck at this stage of her career. In a one-hour consultation we went through what was happening and what to correct, and she described the advice as simple and not expensive.
The situation
Indrani is an interior designer with more than 24 years of experience. In her video she says she felt stuck at this stage of her career and wanted to talk to someone like a friend.
She also said something many experienced professionals will relate to. She already sensed that some of the things she was doing were wrong. What she needed was someone to confirm it and help her correct them.
What I check when someone feels stuck
Indrani’s own chart stays private. When a working professional tells me they feel stuck, these are the parts of the chart I go through first.
- The 10th house and its lord. This is the main house of career, status and public work. I see how strong it is, where its lord sits and which planets influence it.
- The D10 (Dashamsa) chart. This divisional chart adds detail on professional life and shows how career promises in the main chart are likely to play out.
- The 6th, 2nd and 11th houses. The 6th shows daily work and competition, the 2nd shows earnings and the 11th shows gains and the network around you.
- Saturn and Jupiter. Saturn is about hard work, slow building and delays. Jupiter is about growth, guidance and expansion. Their placement and current transits often explain why a phase feels heavy.
- The dasha periods. The current Mahadasha and Antardasha tell me which planets are active right now. A stuck phase often lines up with a period that asks for patience or a change in approach.
I also look at the space a person works from. For anyone who works from home or from a studio, the zone the desk sits in, the direction you face while working and clutter in key zones can all play a part.
Remedies in such cases stay simple: changes in routine, small adjustments at home or at the work space, and where suitable, a mantra. I do not push gemstones or costly rituals.
What Indrani said afterwards
Indrani said the one-hour consultation showed great depth of knowledge, that I told her what was happening to her, and that I suggested things to do. Some of those she had already sensed herself. The consultation confirmed them and showed her how to correct them.
On the remedies, she put it this way: “He doesn’t say that you have to wear this amount of stones, this expensive rituals you have to do. He doesn’t say that. It’s all very simple.” She also mentioned that it was not expensive.

This is how I prefer to work. People often know a lot about their own situation already. My job is to show it clearly in the chart and the space, and help them decide what to change.
If you are in the same place
If you feel stuck in your career, these steps will help, with or without a consultation:
- Name what feels stuck. Growth, recognition, income or motivation are different problems, and naming yours makes any reading more useful.
- Trust your own sense of what is off. Write it down and bring it to the consultation. It is often right.
- Look at your work space. Clear the desk, keep good light, and if you can, face north or east while you work.
- Be wary of costly remedies. Simple remedies you follow every day do more than expensive ones done once.
- Learn your timing. A difficult dasha does not last forever. Knowing when a phase changes helps you plan your next move.
From my consultations: When an experienced professional tells me they feel stuck, the running dasha often explains why the phase feels heavy, and we usually start with simple changes to routine and work space rather than anything expensive.
How long before things move? When the work covers both the chart and the space, clients usually tell me they notice a shift somewhere between three weeks and three months. With Vastu corrections alone, the timing depends more on the period your chart is running. Either way, a hard phase usually feels lighter once the changes are done. Some people feel it sooner than others.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can astrology help if I feel stuck in my career?
A reading of the 10th house, the D10 chart and your current dasha shows the kind of phase you are in and what it asks of you. It will not make decisions for you or promise an outcome, but it gives clarity on timing and on where your effort will count most.
Do I need to wear gemstones or do expensive rituals?
No. I do not sell gemstones or rituals. The remedies I suggest are simple things you can do in daily life and at home, and I explain the reason behind each one.
What do I need for an online astrology consultation?
Your birth date, time and place, and a short list of what is worrying you. The call is 45 minutes, a written report follows within two days, and the fee is ₹1,499 per person. See how it works for the steps.
How long does a stuck phase in a career usually last?
It usually follows the period your chart is running. Some phases last a few months, others a couple of years. Knowing when the current one eases helps you decide whether to push now or prepare for the next window.
Should I change jobs when I feel stuck?
Not always. Sometimes the chart supports a move, and sometimes it points to staying and changing how you work. I look at the 10th house, the D10 chart and the coming dasha before I suggest either.
