Most people who book a session with me are not looking for magic. They have already worked hard on the problem. They took the course, went to counselling, changed their diet, saw the doctor. Something still feels stuck. This article explains what I look at when the issue is career, a relationship or health, and how Vastu, your birth chart and numerology fit together.
Three tools, three questions
Each tool answers a different question, and that is why I use them together.
- Vastu asks: is your home or office working for you or against you? It looks at directions, rooms and the five elements.
- Your birth chart asks: what period are you in right now, and what does it favour? It looks at planets, houses and your current dasha.
- Numerology asks: do your name and key numbers support what you are trying to do? It is the smallest of the three layers.
Vastu on its own balances a space and reduces the effect of doshas. When it is read together with your chart, done carefully and in detail, it can also bring positive benefits, because the corrections are matched to you. That combined approach is what I call Astro-Vastu.
Career: when effort is not turning into progress
The signs are familiar. Interviews go well and then nothing happens. Deals fall through at the last minute. Someone else gets the credit.
What I check:
- The north of your home or office, which Vastu links with opportunities and career flow. Heavy storage, a toilet or a staircase here is a common finding.
- Where you sit and which way you face while you work.
- The 10th house of your chart and the period you are running now.
Typical remedies are simple: clear and brighten the north, move the desk so you face north or east, and pick better dates for interviews, launches or resignations.
One example from my practice: a client in Pune came to me worried about a job change. Her Saturn period showed a blockage. I also checked her D9 chart and her current antardasha, and gave her a date to act on. She got the new job.
Relationships: when the same arguments keep coming back
Here the signs are repeated fights, distance, or a feeling of not being heard at home.
What I check:
- The south-west, which Vastu links with stability and partnership. A missing corner, a toilet or a light, empty south-west comes up often.
- The north-west, linked with communication.
- Venus and the Moon in both charts, and how the two charts match.
Remedies include moving the couple’s bedroom or bed towards the south-west, using earth tones there, and choosing better timing for important family decisions. Vastu does not replace honest conversation. It removes friction from the space, so those conversations are easier to have.
Health: supporting recovery, not replacing your doctor
I always say this first: if you have a health problem, see a doctor. Vastu can support rest and recovery. It cannot treat an illness.
Within that limit, I look at:
- The north-east, which Vastu keeps clean and light. A toilet here is one of the most common findings in homes where people sleep badly.
- The bedroom position and the direction you sleep in.
- The south-east, the fire zone, and where the kitchen sits.
When the north-east toilet cannot be moved, which is most of the time, I correct it without demolition, using placement, colour and element remedies matched to the family’s birth charts.
Why timing matters
The right step at the wrong time often fails. Your dasha and antardasha show which periods favour change and which favour patience. That is why my remedy plans include dates: when to start a job search, sign a lease, schedule a planned procedure with your doctor’s agreement, or move into a new home.
What you get in a session
- A review of your floor plan, zone by zone
- A reading of your birth chart and current period
- A numerology check of your name and key numbers, where it is relevant
- A written remedy plan in order of priority, with dates where timing matters
- Follow-up sessions, if you want them, booked separately
Sessions run online. They cost ₹1,499 per floor for a home Vastu review or per person for an astrology reading, and Astro-Vastu is quoted on request. See consultation fees for details.
Frequently Asked Questions
Which should I fix first: career, relationships or health?
Start with the area that hurts most, but expect overlap. In Vastu the north supports career and money, the south-west supports relationships, and the north-east supports health and clarity. Your current period often points to the same root, so I rank the remedies and you start with the change that helps the most areas at once.
Can Vastu help with career stagnation?
It is one of the most common reasons people come to me. Clearing the north, fixing your desk position and timing your moves are practical steps. I cannot promise a promotion, but I can make sure your space and your timing are not working against you.
Does this help with stress and anxiety?
Many clients say their home feels calmer after the north-east is cleared and the bedroom is sorted out. That can help, but if stress or anxiety is affecting your daily life, please also speak to a doctor or counsellor.
Do I need all three: Vastu, astrology and numerology?
No. Many people need only a home Vastu consultation or an astrology consultation. I suggest the combined Astro-Vastu approach when Vastu alone has not solved a long-running problem.
