In short: Sangita, from Bengaluru, came for Vastu guidance when she and her husband were facing job insecurity and financial stress. After a few simple changes at home, she says that within a few days they noticed a positive improvement in their environment, their relationship and their mindset.
The situation
Sangita lives in Bengaluru. In her video she describes a period when she and her husband were dealing with job insecurity and financial stress at the same time.
That is all I will share about her situation, because it is what she chose to share herself. Many couples will recognise it. When work feels uncertain, money worries usually follow, and both tend to come home with you.
The guidance she received came down to a few simple changes at home.
What we looked at
I will not go into the specifics of Sangita’s home. In a case like this, where the worry is about jobs and money, I usually look at a handful of areas first.
- The north. In Vastu the north is linked with career and new opportunities, and it is traditionally the zone of Kubera. I check whether it is open and clean, or blocked by heavy storage, a toilet or clutter.
- The south-west. This corner is linked with stability, in relationships as well as in finances. I look at whether it is heavy and solid, as it should be, or has an entrance, a cut or a lot of empty space.
- The main door. The entrance is where opportunities come in. I check its direction and position, and also its condition: lighting, a door that sticks or creaks, shoes and clutter piled outside.
- Kitchen and toilet placement. Fire and water need to sit in suitable zones. A toilet in the north, or a kitchen in the north-east, can add to the feeling that money comes in and does not stay.
Most of what I suggest in cases like this needs no construction. Moving a function or a piece of furniture, changing a colour, fixing the lighting, using a metal strip where a toilet sits in a sensitive zone, or simply keeping an area clean and dry often does the work. Where something can only be fully fixed by construction, I say so plainly and give the best workaround in the meantime.
What changed, in their words
In her video, Sangita says: “His Vastu guidance was very practical, logical and very easy to implement. After making a few simple changes in my home, after a few days, we noticed a positive improvement in our environment, our relationship and overall our mindset.” (lightly cleaned up from the auto-captions)
In her Google review she wrote about a “noticeable shift in positivity” and “peace of mind,” and called the guidance “practical, insightful, and easy to implement.”
You can watch her speak about it here: Sangita’s video review on YouTube.
What I take from her words is that the changes were small enough to actually carry out. That matters more than people think. A correction that never gets done helps no one.
What this means for you
If your home feels tense because of work or money worries, these are the steps I would start with:
- Clear the north. Remove clutter, heavy cartons and unused items from the north of your home.
- Look after the main door. Keep it clean and well lit, make sure it opens fully, and keep shoes in a closed rack.
- Keep the south-west steady. Do not store broken things there. A heavy cupboard or the main bed suits this zone.
- Check where water and fire sit. Note whether a toilet falls in the north or north-east, or the kitchen in the north-east. Keep toilets clean and dry, with the door closed.
- Pick changes you will keep up. Small corrections you maintain do more than big ones you abandon.
From my consultations: When a couple comes to me worried about jobs and money, I often find the north of the home cluttered or blocked, and clearing it is one of the simplest first steps.
Couples like this often move on to Astro-Vastu, where the Vastu is set for both horoscopes. Most tell me the first positive change came within about 21 days and results within about 90. Vastu alone moves at the pace of your current period.
Vastu works alongside practical steps on your career and finances, not in place of them. For a career question read from the birth chart instead, see the story of an interior designer who felt stuck.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can Vastu help with job insecurity and money stress?
Vastu looks at whether your home is supporting you or working against you. It cannot replace effort, skills or financial planning. It can correct the zones linked with career and money, and in my experience that often makes a home feel calmer.
Do I need to break walls to fix Vastu for money problems?
Usually not. Most corrections involve moving furniture or functions, colours, lighting, metal strips and keeping certain areas clean and dry. If something can only be fully fixed by construction, I tell you plainly and give you the best option without it. You can read more in Vastu without breaking walls.
Did they have to break any walls?
No. The changes were simple ones: where things were placed, a few colours and small remedial items. Nothing was broken or rebuilt. If you want the same for your home, the steps are on the how it works page.
